We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Marketing Lead to join our team and play a crucial role in driving our brand’s growth and market presence in Japan. This position involves close collaboration with the Head of Japan and global marketing teams to develop and execute a comprehensive long-term marketing strategy. The ideal candidate will oversee and optimize various marketing channels, including digital, social media, email, content, and traditional advertising, ensuring maximum ROI. You will identify growth opportunities, define and implement the customer journey strategy, and lead a team of 4-6 marketing professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.

What you'll do:

  • Collaborate closely with the Head of Japan and other global marketing teams to develop a comprehensive long-term marketing strategy and enhance brand presence.
  • Oversee and optimize all marketing channels, including digital, social media, email, content, and traditional advertising; analyze channel performance and adjust strategies to maximize ROI.
  • Identify and pursue growth opportunities, exploring new channels to expand the business.
  • Define and implement the customer journey strategy, aiming to improve the effectiveness of the marketing funnel.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 4-6 marketing professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.

Who we're looking for:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing, with a demonstrated track record in developing and implementing successful marketing strategies.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a leadership role, preferably in managing a marketing team.
  • Proficiency in various marketing platforms and tools, including digital marketing, social media, content management systems, and analytics tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team of marketing professionals.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret marketing data and make informed decisions.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with proficiency in conveying marketing strategies and results to team members and stakeholders in both Japanese and English.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and respond effectively to shifting priorities.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet new challenges and embrace changes in the market or within the company.
